Salman Khan and Rajkumar Santoshi’s film shelved?

There was a lot of buzz about Salman Khan doing a film with Rajkumar Santoshi. Finally, the filmmaker confirmed that the actor had agreed to do the film which was to be produced by Atul Agnihotri. However, a leading tabloid reports that the film has been shelved as of now.

According to the report, “ Rajkumar’s film with Salman is not happening soon and Santoshi will now be directing a film for Wave Cinemas which was locked on Group Chairman Raju Chadhaji’s birthday. The subject of this film is extremely close to Chadhaji’s heart and it means the world to him to see this film come alive on a large scale. Saragarhi will release next year,“ Filmmaker-producer Rahul Mittra, CEO of Wave Cinemas, who is working with Santoshi informed  the tabloid . “The moment we knew that Santoshi’s film with Salman was not happening immediately, we decided to roll with ours. The mahurat shot will be on September 12,” added Mittra.

Everyone was really looking forward to see the reunion of Salman and Santoshi as it would have been after the success of Andaz Apna Apna, but seems like fans will have to wait a little longer. Salman will soon begin shooting for Kabir Khan’s Tubelight. The film will go on floors on July 28 and after this, Khan will get busy with the much awaited tenth season of Bigg Boss which will reportedly begin in September.
