Ayushmann Khurrana Honoured For Dum Laga Ke Haisha In Russia


From an anchor to an actor, Ayushmann Khurrana has proved his mettle in every field. In his last film, Dum Laga Ke Haisha, Ayushmann once again proved his ability to essay unique roles beautifully on big screen. Indian Film Festival of Russia has recently honoured the Vicky Donor actor for his stellar performance in the film.

The Hawaizaada actor was touched to receive the honour. He was quoted as saying, “I believe the language of love & relationships is universal. Dum Laga Ke Haisha is about an everyday love story that has rarely been presented in such a believable manner before. This film is special for many reasons, and the honor that the Indian Film Festival of Russia is giving me makes this journey even more memorable”.

Dum Laga Ke Haisha is a romantic comedy film, which also starred Bhumi Pednekar as female lead. The Sharat Katariya directorial, which released on February 27, was a story of a dissatisfied young man from a small town, set in the era of 90’s.  The romantic comedy film was a Yash Raj Films production.
